COKATO, Minn. (KNSI) A Cokato woman was injured in a car-train accident in Wright County Monday.

The sheriff's office says it happened just after 3 p.m. just south of U.S. Highway 12 in Cokato Township.

A car driven by 23 year-old Janna Larson-Stigen was northbound on Quimby Avenue Southwest and failed to stop at a railroad crossing. She was struck by the eastbound train.

Larson-Stigen was taken to Hutchinson Hospital by Cokato Ambulance. 

The sheriff's office says the road was slippery at the time of the crash.
