ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - Coborn's has announced plans to build five new grocery stores in western North Dakota's booming oil patch between now and 2014.
Communities in Tioga and Stanley will see Coborn's replace Food Pride stores while another new Coborn's store will be built in Watford City, and Cash Wise Food Stores will open in Dickinson and Minot.
CEO Chris Coborn says North Dakota is a "prime market" for expansion and the new locations represent positive, strategic growth for the employee-owned company. Coborn's has operations in six states--employing 67-hundred people.
