FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) - Police are on the lookout for a suspect who kidnapped an employee from the Foley Coborn's Store before making the employee drive him to the Twin Cities.

Foley interim Police Chief Katie Lang tells KNSI News the incident took place just before 3 a.m, when the suspect forced the employee out of the store and into their own vehicle in the parking lot.

The employee then drove the suspect to the metro area, and returned unharmed this morning around 7 a.m.

Lang said the investigation is ongoing, and declined to comment regarding if or what kind of weapon was used to force the employee from the store.

Police are actively seeking the suspect, and anyone with information is asked to call the Foley police department or the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
