ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Coborn's Incorporated has announced its chief operating officer--Bob Thueringer--will retire with the company after a 47 year career next June.

Thueringer's career at Coborn's began when he bagged groceries at the Sauk Rapids store starting in 1967. He moved up the ladder, and was named chief operating officer in 2006.

Coborn's Chief Financial Officer--Pam Osborn--will assume the role of chief operating officer--effective January 1st.

Coborn's has 120 retail locations, including 48 grocery stores, and more than 7,000 employees throughout the midwest. It operates stores under the Coborn's, Cash Wise Foods and Save-A-Lot banners, and also operates its own central bakery, dry cleaning facility and grocery distribution center.
