ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A meeting is being held Monday night to talk about proposed renovations to Clark Field--the home of the Tech High School Tigers football team.
The meeting begins at 6:30 pm and runs until 9 o'clock. It's being held on the second floor of DB Searles on Fifth Avenue South in St. Cloud. It's an open house-style event. Snacks will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
The St. Cloud School District announced in late summer 2012 that Clark Field would no longer host varsity football games due to the aging stadium falling into disrepair. Since then, a Tech alumni group has been studying ways to renovate the field, bleachers, restrooms and concession stands, how much it would cost, and how the work could be paid for.
