EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Highway 212 in Eden Prairie is closed between Highway 101 and Dell Road due to what is being described as "law enforcement activity" following a police chase.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says on Twitter the road will be closed until at least noon due to the activity.

MnDOT traffic cameras showed State Patrol troopers and police chasing a vehicle eastbound on Highway 212 out of Carver County and into Eden Prairie. The cameras showed the suspect's hood was popped up, but the driver kept going.

Cameras showed an officer used a squad car to send the suspect's vehicle into a wall. Someone then got out and fought with police.

Two ambulances went to the scene. The State Patrol and Eden Prairie police did not immediately return messages.
