BUCKMAN, MN (KNSI) - Charges have been filed now in a hit and run death of an ATV driver in Morrison County last month.

Fifty five year-old Linda Hiemenz of Pierz is charged with criminal vehicular homicide, failing to stop at an accident scene, and failing to notify law enforcement about the crash. Hiemenz was allegedly behind the wheel of an S-U-V that struck and killed 28 year-old Ashley Schraut of Buckman at an intersection in Buckman Township the night of June 21st. The driver then fled the scene.

A court complaint says Hiemenz eventually admitted to her involvement in the accident after being questioned by investigators.
