PLYMOUTH, Minn. (KNSI) Two workers suspended more than 100 feet in the air were rescued after their harnesses failed while fixing a cell phone tower in Plymouth.
Authorities say the two men called for help about 6 p.m. Thursday while working on the tower.
The Twin Cities urban search and rescue team, Minnesota Task Force One, was summoned and the workers were freed after about two hours.
An emergency room doctor and three ambulances were on the scene.
Both men were alert and conscious when lowered. They were taken to North Memorial Hospital for treatment of possible hypothermia.
