ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – Add Cathedral High School and St. Peter's Parish as the latest victims of this year's rash of burglaries in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud Police were dispatched to Cathedral High School, 312 7th Avenue North early Monday morning in response to a burglary report. Upon investigation, police believe that a white man entered the school by cutting a screen window around 4:15 a.m.

Once inside, the suspect took electronic equipment, according to police reports. Police believe that the burglar left out the window. No one else was on campus at the time of the incident.

Investigators said the suspect, who appeared to be in his early 20s, was wearing a dark-colored jacket and a white baseball cap.

Meanwhile, St. Cloud police were also looking into a weekend burglary at St. Peter's Parish, 930 31st Avenue North.

Detectives believe someone got into the building between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, then made off with some electronic devices.

Officers found pry marks inside the school area, but it was not immediately clear how the burglary got into the church and school

Anyone with any information about either incident was encouraged to contact the St. Cloud Police Department or Tri-County Crimestoppers.
