ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (KNSI) A Carlos man has died in a two vehicle crash on Interstate 94 near Alexandria.

The State Patrol says 19 year-old Landon Lien was in a pickup that was passing a Freightliner truck in the westbound lanes.

The pickup sideswiped the truck and rolled into the median.

Lien was pronounced dead at Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria. Another person in the pickup--18 year-old Jacob Dale of Alexandria--was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Freightliner--40 year-old Chad Cave of Mandan, North Dakota--was not injured.

The crash was reported just after 2 o'clock Saturday morning.
