Busy travel day ahead

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) This is the day before Thanksgiving, and that means millions of Americans will be packing up and hitting the road today to spend a long holiday weekend with family and friends.

Triple-A's Thanksgiving 2012 Travel Forecast is predicting holiday travel to increase about seven-tenths of one-percent over last Thanksgiving.

Fourty-three-point-six million Americans will travel for the holiday this year. Ninety-percent of them will do so by motor vehicle, and when they fill up the gas tank, they'll find gas prices generally in a range between $3.25 and $3.40 a gallon.
