Bus Drivers Represent St. Cloud in Rodeo

BEMIDJI, MN (KNSI) - Two Fixed Route and two Dial-a-Ride St. Cloud Metro Bus drivers competed at the Minnesota Statewide Bus Roadeo competition last Saturday in Bemidji. 

Fixed route drivers Ken Rakke placed first and Jabin Scepurek placed second in the large bus division. Rakke will advance to the International Bus Roadeo competition held in Indianapolis in May 2013. Dial-a-Ride driver Todd DeZurik placed third in the small bus division.

The annual Minnesota Statewide Bus Roadeo provides training, skill enhancement and recognition for Minnesota's public bus operators.  Three winning drivers in each division received a special trophy, medal and recognition.
