FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) The Benton County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in solving a recent burglary and theft.
Chief Deputy Troy Heck says the burglary happened October 13th at Mimbach Fleet Supply in Sauk Rapids. During the early morning hours, a snowmobile trailer, pull behind lawn vacuum, and a pull behind lawn mower were stolen from an outdoor fenced-in area.
Evidence at the scene indicates at least two men arrived in a dark-colored, newer model pickup. The pickup had a matching topper, chrome running boards, light colored fender flares and a thin pinstripe running along the length of the truck. The suspects got in the fenced-in area by cutting a lock securing the gate.
A second theft was reported at Luther Honda of St. Cloud. During the overnight hours of November 15th into the 16th, the suspects stole 60 wheels and tires from 15 different vehicles parked in the auto dealer lot. All were from Honda vehicles. The wheels were five hole, five spoke alloy or steel wheels. Many have the Honda symbol in the center. Tires taken were a mix of Bridgestone, Continental and Michelin tires. They were mostly 17 and 18 inch tires, with a few 16 inch tires as well.
Anyone with information can call the Benton County Sheriff's Office at 320-968-7201 or Tri-County Crimestoppers at 1-800--255-1301.
