ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The St. Cloud City Council meets at six tonight at city hall.

The council is expected to confirm Mayor Dave Kleis's appointments of Dennis Ballantine to the City Planning Commission, and Jennifer Foley to the Park and Recreation Board.

The council will consider an ordinance that would establish a temporary reduction of $1,500 in building fees for the first 35 single-family homes built in St. Cloud this year.

The council will also hear a report on the planned reconstruction of 33rd Street South between County Road 75 and Southway Drive.

The three-and-a-half million dollar project would include a four-lane design with dual northbound left turn lanes. Construction is expected next year.
