AVON, Minn. (KNSI) A neighbor's burning brush pile is believed to be the cause of a fire that damaged a barn in Collegeville Township this week.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the fire at 17885 County Road 9 was contained to the hay loft of the barn. The fire caused minimal damage.

All of the animals in the barn escaped the fire and were not injured. Wind from the neighbor's brush pile apparently pushed the flames toward the barn, causing it to catch fire.
