BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) - Brooklyn Park police are investigating a shooting that involves as many as three victims, including at least one fatality.
A Minneapolis Star Tribune report says the shooting happened Monday about 6:30 a.m.
Police Inspector Todd Milburn says the shooting was fatal but didn't say how many fatalities there were. He says the case is being investigated as a homicide.
The nearby Hennepin Technical College was locked down as a precaution on police advice.
School spokeswoman Annette Roth says students who were already onsite are safe in a locked building. She says all other students were sent emails and text messages telling them not to come to campus.
