ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - One lucky person will be traveling the Mississippi in style in a fully loaded pontoon when the 2017 Governor's Fishing Opener comes to town in May.

The pontoon is a 22 foot 2017 Sun Tracker Fishin' Barge and valued at $40,000 and will be raffled off.

"This absolutely gorgeous 22 foot Sun Tracker that will be raffled off, the money from the raffle sales will be used to support our event," Director of the Governor's Fishing Opener Julie Lunning said.

"There's a 150 Mercury on it so if you want to ski or tube with the kids, want to putt around, have a nice sunset cruise, you can do it all with this boat," Hinman said.

The pontoon also has a beefed up trolling motor to handle the Mississippi River.

"We've put a 24 volt system that will be able to hold the current, you know on the river for the Governor's Fishing Opener," he said.

You could also win a Clam portable ice house or a $500 gift card to Scheels. Raffle tickets are $10 and can be bought at the St. Cloud Area Convention and Visitors Bureau on West St. Germain Street.
