Boy Injured While Riding Bike

ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - A 12 year-old St. Cloud boy was injured when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle.

Police say it happened Tuesday night, just after 7:30, at Cooper Avenue and 30th Street South. Trace Piner was on his bike crossing the road in an unmarked crosswalk when he was struck.

A vehicle driven by 44 year-old Kevin Otremba of Sauk Rapids was making a right hand turn when the accident happened. The boy was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

No charges will be filed.
