ZIMMERMAN, Minn. (AP) — A father was able to rescue his 12-year-old son from a collapsed snow tunnel in Sherburne County.

The boy was unresponsive and was taken by air to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale Tuesday. He has since recovered.

Sheriff's officials say the boy's father pulled his son from the snow pile before deputies arrived at the property near Zimmerman.

The boy has been released from the hospital.
