PAYNESVILLE, Minn. (KNSI) - A young boy was hurt, but is expected to recover, following a rural Paynesville boat crash.

The Stearns County Sheriff, along with Paynesville Police and first responders, were called to Lake Koronis on Tuesday around 10:15 a.m.

They report that the 1966 Arkan Runabout boat, driven by 66 year-old Donald Manion of Coon Rapids, was pulling a water skier when it crashed into a kayak with two juvenile males on board.

One of them, a five-year old boy from Edina, received non life-thretening injuries and was taken to Paynesville Hospital by ambulance.

The case is being investigated by the Stearns County Sheriff's Department.
