GOODVIEW, Minn. (AP) — Police say a man whose body was found in a stone quarry in Winona County apparently fell 30 to 40 feet.
Goodview police say an autopsy on the body of the 39-year-old man will be done in Olmsted County. He has not been identified.
Police Chief Kent Russell says the man's family reported him missing Oct. 16, but that he had not been seen or heard from since Oct. 3.
A number of law enforcement agencies conducted a search for the man on Saturday and found his body in the quarry located on a bluff area behind Sahler Addition.
