DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a body found in Duluth last week is that of a 74-year-old woman missing since last summer.

Police say the St. Louis County medical examiner's office has identified the body as that of Dale Elizabeth Gerard.

Gerard's body was found last Tuesday along a fence and brush line in Duluth's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Police said last week they believed the body was Gerard's, but positive identification was not made until Monday.

The manner and cause of death have not yet been released.

Gerard's body was found about five blocks from where she was last seen getting off a bus last July. Several searches had been conducted in the area.
