Minneapolis, Minn. (KNSI) A state board that oversees discipline for Minnesota lawyers is seeking punishment for Clark C. Griffith, a former law professor and the son of former Twins owner Calvin Griffith.
The Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board on Wednesday released a petition filed with the state Supreme Court asking that Griffith be disciplined.
Griffith was accused of sexually harassing a 24-year-old student by exposing himself to her on a St. Paul street and forcing her to touch him.
He entered an Alford plea in June to a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure. A judge spared him jail time but ordered him to undergo sex-offender counseling.
The state's high court can dismiss the petition or enact discipline ranging from reprimand to disbarment.
