ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Wednesday is the first day of spring, but don't put away that winter jacket, cap and gloves just yet.
Forecasters are saying this will be the coldest first day of spring in Minnesota since 1965, when high temperatures were only in the teens.
St. Cloud's high temperature is expected to top out near 18 degrees, but northwest winds will keep wind chill values below zero.
St. Cloud's average high for March 20th is 41, with a normal low of 22.
Temperatures should slowly moderate, with highs getting into the mid 30's by this weekend.
