MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton is receiving a public leadership award at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.

Clinton will deliver a speech Monday evening at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs on civil rights issues. It's part of the school's ongoing speaker series to mark the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act.

Clinton will receive the Dean's Award for Public Leadership, which organizers say honors those who have made important contributions in promoting the common good.
