ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A judge has ordered a mental competency examination for a man charged in a Rockville murder in October.

Twenty eight year-old Marcus Barshaw is accused of shooting Jeffrey Schutz six times after the two got into an argument at Schutz's residence.

Barshaw was indicted by a Stearns County grand jury on charges of first degree murder, second degree murder, and first and second degree assault.

Barshaw fled after the shooting, and was later shot multiple times by a Stearns County deputy.

He's being held on three million dollars bail.
