FARMING, MN (KNSI) - A Stearns County bar owner who is facing two dozen felonies for tax evasion can continue selling alcohol for another year.

The county board approved the liquor license for Goatropers Bar and Grill in Farming Township even though owner Anthony Thelen is charged with 24 felonies.

Accusations include under-reporting the bar's food and alcohol sales to the state, failing to pay withholding taxes on his employees' wages, and failing to file personal income taxes.

Thelen is due back in court July 27th.

The board added a condition to Thelen's license allowing them to remove it immediately if he is convicted of any gross misdemeanor or felony.
