Back to School Tour Comes to St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - Minnesota Education Commissioner Dr. Brenda Cassellius will be in St. Cloud today for her Back to School Tour.

With the new school year right around the corner, Cassellius is visiting districts across the state to highlight efforts to support Minnesota students.

In a meeting at the Rivers Edge Convention Center with teachers, administrators, students, parents and community members, Commissioner Cassellius will hear about district efforts in a variety of areas, including literacy, nutrition, conservation and the community based education campaign, "Partner for Student Success."

This stop of the tour follows a recent visit to the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan school district. Commissioner Cassellius will continue her tour next week with a stop in Moorhead.
