ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A St. Cloud man faces sex assault charges after he allegedly had sex with a woman against her will outside a business Sunday, an encounter seen by security personnel and captured on video, according to St. Cloud police.
Police were called the area along the 100 block of 4th Avenue South around 3:45 a.m. Sunday shortly after security guards working nearby saw a man and woman having sex outside through one of their business' surveillance cameras. Once the security personnel witnessed the woman try to push the man off her and pull up her pants several times, they called authorities, according to the police report.
The woman, identified as a 26-year-old resident of Fort Ripley, did not suffer any injuries and it did not appear the encounter was violent in nature, police said.
Suspect Timothy Lewis Streling, 24, of Avon told officers the sex was consentual, however, video footage of the encounter showed at least four separate attempts by the woman to get away from Streling.
Streling was booked into the Stearns County Jail on one count of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.
