WAITE PARK, MN (KNSI) - Local police and the FBI are investigating a Sunday morning bank robbery in Waite Park.
A man walked into the branch bank of MicCountry Bank in the CashWise grocery store at 113 Waite Avenue South, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says his officers got the call just before 11 o'clock yesterday morning. Bank employees say the suspect appeared to be from 35 to 40-years-old, six feet tall, and 250 pounds.
He left the area in an early 2000 model Ford Mustang, silver or gray in color. Police make no mention of any weapon being used in the robbery, and no bank employees were injured.
