CALEDONIA, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota authorities have identified the three Michigan men who died when their small plane crashed in a field near an airport in southeastern Minnesota.

The Houston County sheriff's department identified the victims Saturday as 79-year-old Joel Garrett of Troy, Michigan, 49-year-old Dale Garrett of Berkley, Michigan, and 50-year-old John Bergeron of Birmingham, Michigan.

A fourth person was injured in the crash. His condition was not immediately available.

Authorities say the men's twin-engine Piper PA-23 was traveling Friday from Troy to Minnesota on Friday when it crashed in Caledonia, Minnesota about 4:30 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
