Austin police: Boy says his cousin lit him on fire

AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) - A 7-year-boy is recovering from burns after he says his 14-year-old cousin allegedly smeared hand sanitizer on his back then lit it on fire.

Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger tells the Austin Daily Herald (http://bit.ly/nShLYw ) the younger boy's parents brought him to the Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin on Tuesday evening.

The boy told his parents and hospital officials his older cousin was to blame.

The Mower County Department of Human Services and the Austin Police Department are investigating.
