ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Find the snow shovel. Gas up the snow bower. You're going to need them.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning that DOES include the St. Cloud area from 9 pm Tuesday through 6 am Thursday.

National Weather Service forecaster Shawn Devinny says snow will develop across Minnesota today, and by Thursday morning, accumulations of 6 to 9 inches are expected in the St. Cloud area.

The snow will be followed by very cold arctic air. Daytime highs by Friday and Saturday will struggle to get above zero, with overnight lows and wind chill values well below zero.

Devinny says the heaviest snow from this storm will fall along the north shore of Lake Superior. Duluth could see as much as two feet of new snow.
