ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) It's been a cool first half of August in central Minnesota, but that's about to change.

National Weather Service meteorologist Dan Luna says daytime highs that have been running in the 70's will be replaced by the 80's and 90's.

He says highs could reach the mid 90's by the middle of next week. But storm and rain chances will remain slim.

It's been a dry month so far, with St. Cloud receiving just over a half inch of rain.

Luna temps will warm into the 90's by next week

Luna says chances for rain or stormy weather are minimal
