ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Groundbreaking ceremonies were held today on a new $8.4 million food services building at the St. Cloud V-A Medical Center campus.
Angela Gross--Director of nutrition and food services--says the new 18,000 square foot building will replace existing facilities that were built in 1924.
She says the new building will have brand new equipment that will allow them to cook food more efficiently.
The food services department at the V-A employs 90 people, and cooks 1,200 meals daily.
