CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KNSI) The day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and if you're doing it by motor vehicle, and in the Upper Midwest, you shouldn't have any problems weather-wise.
Forecaster Dan Luna at the Natoinal Weather Service Office in Chanhassen calls it a "benign forecast"." Wednesday will be partly sunny but chilly, with highs in the low 20s. Thanksgiving Day will be partly sunny again and just a bit warmer, with highs near 27.
Luna says the quiet weather pattern could change early next week when there are indications of "a few bouts with snow" by Tuesday. He says a northwest flow could bring precipitation in, perhaps a couple of inches of snow.
St. Cloud has received just 2.8 inches of snow in November, and 3.6 inches for the season.
