ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud airport manager Bill Towle is all smiles today following the news that Allegiant Airlines is expanding its wings in St. Cloud.
Allegiant will begin twice weekly non-stop jet service to Orlando beginning December 18th. Late last year, Allegiant launched service from St. Cloud to Phoenix-Mesa.
Towle says city officials had been courting Allegiant for some time, but were thinking if additional service was added, it would be to Las Vegas.
He says Orlando will cater more toward family travel, and he says these additional flights certainly won't hurt the airport in trying to attain its number one goal--landing daily jet service to Chicago.
