FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (KNSI) If you're looking for seasonal work or the chance to make a few bucks before heading off to school this fall, the Minnesota State Fair can use you.
Fair spokeswoman Brienna Schuette says they need about 2,700 employees to pull off the 12-day event.
She says there are still jobs available, and she anticipates it will remain that way right up untilt he start of the fair on August 22nd.
She says employees are required to work each day of the fair, doing things like taking tickets, sanitation work or working at a food stand. If you're interested, Schuette says you should go to the State Fair website at www.mnstatefair.org and click on the "fair time employment" tab.
Last year, 1.78 million people attended the State Fair. That was the second-highest ever, only slightly behind the all-time high set in 2009.
