ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Attendees braved a brisk wind Sunday to view the seventh annual St. Cloud's Veteran's Day parade.
Fourty-two units--including the KNSI Radio vehicle--were in this year's parade, which went from the V-A Medical Center campus to Apollo High School.
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis--a U.S. Air Force veteran--marched in this year's parade. He says, "it's great to see people turn out. It means a lot to veterans." He says many veterans, "continue to serve their country" through organizations such as the VFW and the American Legion.
After the parade was completed, a short program was held in the Apollo High School cafateria.
In addition to St. Cloud, military organizations from Monticello, Sauk Centre, Waite Park, Clearwater, Sauk Rapids, St.Joseph and Kimball were represented in this year's parade.
