UNDATED (KNSI) A new poll shows the six GOP candidates for Minnesota governor have some work to do before election day in November.
The KSTP/Survey USA poll shows Dayton leads his GOP rivals by 17 percent to 21 percent.
Marty Seifert of Marshall is Dayton's closest competitor, trailing 51 percent to 34 percent. Seifert tells KNSI News he's not discouraged, noting he did not get into the race until around Thanksgiving, and polled the highest among those in the Republican filed.
The other Republicans, Kurt Zellers, Jeff Johnson, Rob Farnsworth, Scott Honour and Dave Thompson, all polled between 31 percent and 34 percent.
