ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) You've heard the old saying, "it's not the heat, it's the humidity."
Well today, both will make for uncomfortable conditions outdoors. National Weather Service forecaster Sean Devinny says temperatures will reach the low 90s, and the heat index will climb over 100 across central Minnesota.
A Heat Advisory is posted from 11 am to 9 pm.
If you're working outdoors, you should wear light, loose fitting clothing, drink plenty of fluids and take periodic breaks to avoid the possibility of heat exhaustion.
Severe thunderstorms are a possiblity tonight, mainly across northern Minnesota.
