ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The heat wave that's gripping central Minnesota wil finally loosen tonight. National Weather Service meteorologist Dan Luna says high temperatures tomorrow will cool a bit into the eighties, and highs this weekend will remain in the seventies.

With the cooler weather comes a chance of rain tonight. Luna says some areas could see up to a half-inch of rain, but it will be spotty, and many areas will get none.

He says the chance of severe weather is minimal, with the best chance north of St. Cloud in the Brainerd lakes area.
