ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) There's no need to spend Thanksgiving alone if you live in the St. Cloud area.

That's because Place of Hope Ministries is hosting a free Thanksgiving Day meal over the noon hour at 511 9th Avenue North.

Pastor Carol Smith says it will be a traditional meal, with turkey and all the trimmings. She says they have enough food to serve at least 200 people. Members of Celebration Lutheran Church in Sartell will be volunteering their time today to help prepare and serve the meal.

Smith says she was, "called to the community to provide some basic needs for them, and food is our very first basic need." Smith says he loves Thanksgiving and believes, " everyone should have the chance to share it with other people. "
