ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota State Fairgrounds is getting a $15 million makeover this summer.

Spokeswoman Brienna Schuette says work continues on the new West End Market and Transit Hub. That name was selected from more than 1,300 entries received via Facebook and email last October.

Schuette says the West End Market includes an expanded free entertainment stage and seating area, several new food and beverage establishments and new restrooms.

Schuette says the entire project should be finished in time for this year's fair, which begins August 21st.
