ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police are investigating two more reports of gunshots fired in neighborhoods in the city over the weekend.

Both reports occurred with an hour of one another. The first call reported gunfire in the 700-block of Washington Memorial Drive South early Sunday morning. Then about 45 minutes later, a second call came in of gunshots in the 200-block of 18th Avenue North.

St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson says the calls, "are a cause for concern when people resort to violence and decide to resolve their conflicts with guns."

But, the chief says, "I'm not concerned. I live in St. Cloud and I live there because I think it's a safe place to be. And I think day to day, that bears itself out more than a hanfdful of shootings."

Chief Blair Anderson was asked if the recent reports of gunfire will mean a change in how the police department utilizes its resources

Anderson says the shootings are not random, and St. Cloud is still a safe place to live
