ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A major air service announcement was made late Monday afternoon by St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis.

The mayor says twice-daily jet service from St. Cloud Regional Airport to Chicago's O'Hare Airport will begin May 6th.

The United Express flights will be provided by SkyWest Airlines using 50-passenger Canadair regional jets.

Chicago becomes the third destination for air travelers out of St. Cloud. Allegiant flies to Orlando and Phoenix-Mesa.
