ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud Regional Airport will soon release the results of a new economic impact study.

Airport director Bill Towle says past studies have shown the airport's annual economic impact in the $14 to $18 million range. This latest study shows it's up to $20 million--not including air service.

Towle says the airport gets about $475,000 a year in tax revenue to operate the airport, so a $20 million economic impact is, "a pretty good bang for your buck, and we want to make sure the public knows about that."

Towle says the airport's annual economic impact is now at $20 million

Towle says the study shows the taxpayer's return on investment is very good
