ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud Fire Marshal Mike Post says he's still looking for tips from the public as he investigates an arson fire at a local recycler.

The September 25th fire at Northern Metal Recycling at 119 Sixth Avenue Northeast was deliberately set in a stack of crushed vehicles that were waiting to be recycled.

Post says based on the sun angle at the time, he's determined the fire started in a shaded area that is frequented by transients.

The fire broke out shortly after the business closed for the day, and Post says the stack of vehicles where the fire started had been untouched for three weeks.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Anyone with information can call the statewide arson hotline at 1-800-723-2020.
