ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) – Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress late Monday night and after a short foot chase, apprehended a suspect.

St. Cloud police say 29-year-old Patrick David Jacobsen is being held on charges of 1st degree burglary, obstructing the legal process and fleeing police on foot after attempting to enter a window by removing pulling off the screen. All of this occurred near the 100 block of 4th Avenue Northeast in St. Cloud. Officers encountered Jacobson near the building before tracking him down on foot.

The victim in the robbery, a 64-year-old St. Cloud resident, phoned in the report that brought police to the scene.
