LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KNSI) A man suspected of several burglaries in the Little Falls, Pierz and Randall areas has been arrested in Morrison County following a high speed chase.

Thirty four year-old Michael Arndt was spotted by a Little Falls police officer Thursday afternoon on the northwest side of Little Falls. After attempting to stop the vehile, a high speed chase ensued. 

Arndt eventually drove his vehicle into a swampy area south of Highway 27. A Morrison County canine unit tracked Arndt through the swampy area for near 30 minutes before Arndt gave himself up.

In addition to earlier burglary charges, Arndt now faces charges for felony fleeing police. He was booked into the Morrison County Jail pending formal charges.
